After-School Program

For Kindergarten to 12th Grade, from Al-Razi and from any other school. Monday to Thursday 3:15–6:00 PM and Friday 3:00–6:00 PM, at 1908 S. Mebane Street, Burlington. $300 per child for each 4-week cycle. Weeks when the school is closed all week do not count, so you never pay for a week with no care. Register below: you pay by card for the weeks left in the current cycle, at $75 a week ($150 per child if you register by October 23). After that, each cycle's $300 is due on its first day, by card in the parent portal.

  • Cycle 1: Nov 2 – Nov 27. $300, due Mon, Nov 2; last day to pay Fri, Nov 6.

  • Cycle 7: May 24 – Jun 11 (3 weeks). $225, due Mon, May 24; last day to pay Fri, May 28.

No care the weeks of March 8–12 (Eid al-Fitr) and May 17–21 (Eid al-Adha); they fall between cycles. Single days the school is closed (teacher workdays, holidays) stay part of their cycle. A child who joins in the middle of a cycle pays $75 for each week left in it. For a child registering now, the year comes to $2,175.

After-School Program Registration, 2026–2027

The Al-Razi After-School Program is open to children in Kindergarten to 12th Grade, from Al-Razi School and from any other school. Children are grouped by grade: K–2, 3–5, 6–8 and 9–12.

Where: 1908 S. Mebane Street, Burlington, NC 27215, the Burlington Masjid building. This is not the school's Chapel Hill Road address.

When: Monday to Thursday 3:15–6:00 PM, and Friday 3:00–6:00 PM. The program follows the school calendar: when the school is closed, the program is closed. There is no care on teacher workdays or school holidays.

The afternoon: snack, homework time, a Quran and Arabic half-hour, outdoor and active play, and free choice before pickup. Asr prayer is part of almost every afternoon.

Children from other schools arrive after the program opens (3:15 PM Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM on Friday), usually by 4:00 PM, and must be signed in by the adult who brings them. Families arrange their own transport.

Fees: $300 per child for each 4-week cycle, Monday to Friday. Weeks when the school is closed all week (winter break, the Eid weeks, spring break) do not count, so you never pay for a week with no care.

Your place: registering asks for a place. The school office will contact you to confirm your child's place and first day.

Privacy: only program staff and the school office see the information on this form. It is never shared with other families.

Your child is released only to a parent or guardian named above, or to an adult listed here or in the emergency contacts as allowed to collect. Staff check photo ID when they do not know the person.
